It is crucial for a building to feel like it belongs in a landscape and ENRG Architects views outside designed space very much as part of the whole. This belief paired with my love of plants inspires me to always integrate the buildings I design with the landscape. This passion of integration is often seen at the sketch design stage where I include a variety of landscaping features into my master plans—ideas for pools, decks, hard and soft landscaping features, pergolas, paving details, boardwalks and artworks. Landscaping projects have also included liaising with local artists on specific installations to enhance the artistic value of projects. I help with any structural and/or design requirements that they may have in order to successfully integrate their artwork into the project.

In addition to my incorporation of landscaping elements into my own projects, I collaborate on a regular basis with Co-Creators Landscaping, applying my sketching and design skills to assist with landscape details and working drawings.
