The Home Office was designed at the top of our existing garden above our vehicular parking. The idea was to create a light and airy work space that would showcase our beautiful garden as well as our work. 

Due to it being located in a Heritage area, it needed to fit in with the Woodstock streetscape and scale, while the side facing the garden could become more contemporary in look and feel. This elevation opens up onto the garden below and obtains views of the Woodstock roofscapes and of the ocean in the distance. A large 6-leafed sliding door opens up this facade , making the office feel like a part of the tree canopy and garden below. The natural koi pond below (clad in solid granite and sandstone) completes the view, and the sound of the waterfall makes for a tranquil, calm and unique work space.
